Mike Ord
With over 700 retail leases negotiated and over $500M of retail, residential, hospitality, self-storage, multifamily, and healthcare-related land sales closed, Ord provides a blend of experience, smarts, connections, and enthusiasm to his Landlord and Tenant clientele. He is fiercely loyal to those he works for and loves making them look good in the marketplace. Recognized as one of the top retail and land brokers in Arizona, Ord has won multiple Costar Power Broker “Top Broker” Awards over the years.
Spending the first few years of his career as an acquisition and project manager for Evergreen Development Company, Mike obtained a skill set unique to most commercial brokers. In locating sites for Walgreens and other retail developments and managing the development process along the way, Mike developed an early knack for finding the right sites and thinking like a tenant and a developer.
Mike’s ability to recognize Landlord and Tenant needs before they do has served his clients well. Over 25 years later, with over 700 retail leases negotiated and over $500M of retail, residential, multifamily, hospitality, self-storage, and healthcare-related land sales closed, Ord provides a blend of experience, smarts, connections, and enthusiasm to those he represents. He is fiercely loyal to those he works for and loves making them look good in the marketplace.
Ord is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the BYU Marriott School Alumni Association. He coaches youth football, baseball, and softball. He is also involved in local interfaith efforts and enjoys volunteering for numerous local charitable organizations. Mike is a past president of Arcadia Little League and currently volunteers as a board member.
His most prized possession and greatest accomplishment is his family, which includes his wife, Liz, and his kids, Henry, Lily, Jane, and Oliver.
Ord received his undergraduate degree in Finance, with an emphasis in Real Estate, from Brigham Young University.
